As accomplished leaders, BLT collaborates with clients to achieve and exceed their project and strategic goals through dynamic and meaningful architectural expression.  Since each particular situation requires a unique collaboration of expertise for success, BLT assembles and leads the optimal team for each project, typically providing full service for architectural design documentation, and construction observation.  Occasionally, the firm’s role on a building team varies from this normative role, where we provide design leadership, co-authorship in a joint venture, or serve as Executive Architect-of-Record. 

The building team:

• Design Leadership - Good design is more than the reflection of the architect's singular vision, rather it is the culmination of a working relation and dialogue between client and architect.  BLT’s role is to guide the dialogue which leads to a building form and aesthetic which not only serves well on a functional level, but is also pleasing to the eye and spirit.  In some instances the firm has been retained to provide editorial skill in both initial and remedial design for projects underway by others.
• Joint Ventures - Joint venture associations are not merely “marriages of convenience,” rather BLT strategically forming alliances to provide specialized expertise.
• Executive Architect-of-Record – As a firm recognized for design excellence, and technical proficiency, both of which are tailored to meet the needs of individual clients, BLT may occasionally serve as Architect-of-Record, leading a diverse portfolio of prominent commissions for both public and private sector clients.
