BLT completed interior renovations to the public areas and storefronts of the West SEPTA Mezzanine at Amtrak's 30th Street Station. The project area included approximately 6,000 SF of interior renovations to public spaces on the Mezzanine.
The renovations included new retail storefronts, illuminated directional signs and graphics, interior lighting, floor and ceiling finishes and passenger amenities. The Mezzanine now provides an active, vibrant link between the main portions of the station and the pedestrian bridge to the new Cira Centre offices, and the parking structure. The north end of the retail area now has a view north to the Art Museum, a sense of daylight, and a new flower stand.
