Tower Bridge is a groundbreaking
office and hotel development on both sides of the Schuylkill River at Conshohocken,
a former mill town that has rapidly developed into one of the Philadelphia
region’s most desirable suburban office locations due to its excellent
location at the interchange between I-76 and I-476. BLT has been responsible
for the master planning of the northeast quadrant of the development and has
designed Three, Four, and Six Tower Bridge office buildings (67,000 SF, 80,000
SF, and 106,000 SF respectively) and the 152-room Conshohocken Residence
Inn. Due to the highly desirable river front location, all buildings
are raised off the ground with parking underneath, taking advantage of the
magnificent views of the river and the City of Philadelphia skyline. A consistent
palette of light buff pre-cast concrete and green tinted glass unifies the
entire complex and establishes its identity. Four Tower Bridge takes
advantage of a drop in terrain to position the front door and vehicular drop-off
at the first office level on top of three levels of parking.
