Revit and Construction Administration
Revit is a powerful tool. One of its many strengths is on display during construction administration, when the space starts to get filled up with all the approved assemblies and components. The space becomes more tangible for clients and questions arise regarding spatial relationships and layout. The Revit model can be used as a quick snapshot tool by cutting section and outputting 3d views. The client can see the end result and begin to plug the components into the progressing framework of the physical space. This reassures the client that the design was carefully executed and the physical built form is represented correctly. – Doug Soehl, RA, Design Staff
