Experienced Professionals

Steven Jacovic, RA, NCARB
Steven’s international experience is an exciting addition to BLTa. His studies in Madrid and Tokyo bring a unique perspective to his work. Steven previously worked as a project architect with a national architecture firm, on projects ranging from commercial warehousing to mixed-use residential. At BLTa Steven will continue his work with mixed-used residential projects like 5th and Spring Garden.

Theodore Nicholas
Ted joins BLT Architects with 5 years of experience in the Architecture field. During his experience with a local firm, he assisted in design development through construction documentation, performed on-site construction administration and prepared renderings for client presentations and client use. Since joining BLTa Ted has been involved in two laboratory projects within our higher education work including the University of Delaware.
New Graduates

Hongyu Lin
Hongyu recently received his Master of Architecture Degree from the University of Pennsylvania. During his post-graduate years, he has completed internships with companies across the United States returning to Philadelphia to join BLTa. Currently, Hongyu is working on an undisclosed Higher Education Project.

Patrick Papia, III
Patrick graduated from Jefferson in 2021 with a Bachelor of Architecture and a minor in sustainable design. While attending school, he held an internship at a local architecture firm where he prepared 3D models assisted zoning guides. He is currently working on PARX Shippensburg.

Salvatore Armetta
Sal joins BLTa after graduating from Jefferson University’s College of Architecture and the Built Environment. He has a passion for 3D artistry and architectural animation and visualization. He is currently working on a mixed-use project at 12th & Sansom Streets.
