PhilaU Students Win Top Awards in BLT Architects Student Competition
PhilaU students won top awards in BLT Architects’ 2014 student interior design competition, with fifth-year architecture student Philip Rivera taking first place and senior interior design student Kaitlin Shenk placing third.
“Phil and Kaitlin both demonstrate a facility to absorb the essence of a design problem quickly and zero in on a solution at both the macro and micro levels,” said Lauren Baumbach, interior design program director. Those skills, she added, “will serve them well upon entering the profession.”
