- Description
These townhouses, 50 total, were designed following the firm’s winning submission in a competition for designer/developer teams to design two groups of single-family homes in the Society Hill area of Philadelphia. By careful organization of the building forms, a major space providing identity and focus was defined within the center of each group. This organization of major center city blocks, with central spaces in scale with living units and relating realistically to surrounding street patterns, was a first in Society Hill. All street fronts were controlled with consistent cornice heights and brick facing in keeping with historical fabric of Society Hill. The individual townhouses feature three, four and five bedrooms, private gardens at grade, and sun decks at the upper level.
