- Description
This new two story facility is strategically placed at the brow of a steep, wooded, north-facing slope of the Susquehanna River Valley. Exhaustive district planning efforts resulted in a new gateway approach to campus, with signature placement of this structure, and identification of two future building sites. The resulting site composition knits together the mid-70’s vocabulary of the existing buildings, crafting a dynamic vista for students and visitors alike. The two levels of the building are designed to operate either separately or together. The upper floor serves as a corporate community center for outreach functions and for education. The lower floor is dedicated to business education, internal conferencing, and much-needed faculty offices. The floors are connected with two celebratory stairs, providing both formal and informal spaces to gather.
