- Description
This Hamilton Garden project is a prominent component of the Kimmel Center 2009 Master Plan, whose goal is to enliven, better utilize and intensify the “wow” factor of the existing building. The vision transforms the open sky terrace into a vibrant ballroom and party space, while increasing the potential for revenue. An architecturally significant all glass enclosure with visual transparency to the larger iconic glass vault is conceptualized to be Philadelphia’s premier event venue. The new addition enhanced the elegance and vitality of the entire center, and address acoustic and thermal comfort problems in order to improve the functionality of the garden and increase event rental throughout the year.
