Description

Hersha Hospitality acquired The Rittenhouse Hotel in early 2012 and retained BLT Architects for master planning services to improve utilization and update the design of the public levels and to provide additional hospitality suites and guestrooms. Renovation of the 13,000 square foot lobby, includes a new library and lounge formed within previous lobby space and supported the new brand image of quiet refined rooms desired by the hotel’s cosmopolitan guests. The Lobby design incorporates custom bronze grillwork and light finishes elegantly designed bring light into the deep Lobby. Five new luxury hospitality suites incorporate former high-bay retail gallery space, opening from a central library loggia, each with views open to Rittenhouse Square.
