- Description
The Walnut Street Cafe is a modern take on contemporary design that compliments the vertical neighborhood for which it is now a part. Located at 2929 Walnut Street in Philadelphia, the restaurant sits at the base of the FMC Tower at Cira Centre South in University City. With its american style street corner cafe feel, the Cafe features both casual dining and all day offerings to go, indoor and outdoor seating, a cocktail bar and fine dining areas.
Working with the interior design firm, the team developed a 5,000 square foot modern contemporary design, while meeting the programmatic demand of a three meal restaurant. The main dining room showcases an open kitchen. In addition a mezzanine level was created to overlook the cafe/bar area and serve as additional seating or private event space.
