- Description
This 750 car garage/retail facility combines the university’s public and valet parking facilities, incorporating seven levels of parking in a double helix configuration, atop ground level retail space. Two lobbies, with pay-on-foot capability, elevator service, and ancillary spaces, are provided. A second-floor climate-controlled bridge connects to the main second floor public atrium of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
The design pays homage to architect Paul Cret’s historic Federal Reserve Bank building directly across Chestnut Street.
